Even though summer seems to have come and gone already, we're still serving up warmth in our food and welcome at Kwai 2. So why not turn your back on the rain and pop in to see what's happening this summer at Kwai 2.

Over the bank holiday, with the Sealed Knot at Basing House, the village is set to be swarming with roundheads and cavaliers, so an evening in the peace and tranquillity of Kwai 2 could be just what the doctor ordered.

New Arrivals

To our news this month, we have a new addition to the kitchen team. Joining his award winning father, head chef Somchai, joined us in July. Rest assured that has been fully trained by his father and knows all the family recipes that make the taste of Kwai 2 so beautiful and unique.

Kwai 2's Garden Party Helps raises £450 for Great Ormond Street

Back to the glorious British summer, we decided to hold a garden party to raise money in aid of Great Ormond Street. We were granted a licence to use the courtyard at the front of Kwai 2. What a gorgeous setting it was. A local band offered their service to entertain us for free. The kitchen staff served up a sumptuous buffet and the weather managed to stay mainly dry for us. book your Christmas Party

Thinking ahead to the seasons ahead, we just wanted to mark your card that we are taking bookings for Christmas already.

It may seem a long way away but we have already got parties booked in for the festive season and for our New Year's Eve party.

Due to the success of last year, which comprised of dinner with table service, laser show, fireworks and music all night long we will be running a similar format this year. To provide more time to mingle, talk and dance, the difference is that we will be serving a buffet style meal this year.

It will be a black tie, cash bar and ticket only event. So buy your tickets soon to ensure your place at the party.
