Following our launch of Sunday opening last month, both lunch and evening sittings are proving to be extremely popular. For those that are looking for a change to the norm on Sundays, we are offering full menu as well as our takeaway service.

Another new innovation for 2011 is our end of the month buffet. Served on the last Friday of the month, with a different variety of dishes each month, this is becoming very popular especially with our business customers. You can see why with the ability to eat a substantial lunch for less than £10.00.

Kwai 2 Leading the pack

The 23rd of January was a special day as we were voted the number 1 restaurant out of the 45 in Basingstoke by tripadvisor.co.uk for service, quality and price from yet another vegetarian looking for variety and choice. A big thank you to our customers as we strive to better this still more whilst at the same time we continue to serve our friends.

We now have 1738 subscribers to our website and, with news spreading by word of mouth, every month ever more new customers are enjoying the experience and Kwai 2. For those of you that share your thoughts and tastes in more modern ways, our Facebook following is also growing month on month.

This Month's Chef's Recommendation

Chef's recommendation of the month is New Zealand Mussels, followed by Tamarind Duck accompanied with Egg Fried Rice and accompanied by a bottle of Sancerre to compliment the dishes.
