Sawatdee!

Three months since our launch and things are changing already at Kwai 2.

We've hosted our first birthday banquet and seen a succession of delighted customers for special Sunday evening opening on Valentines Day and Mothers' Day. This has been so popular that we will once again open for Easter Sunday evening at Kwai 2. Yes, all in all it has been a wonderful start for Kwai 2 and the staff would like to thank each of you for your custom and kindness.

In this month's newsletter we keep up the good news and innovation with details of new services for our customers. We also have especially good news for the winner of our first newsletter prize. Mark Bessant was drawn at random from the newsletter readers and will be enjoying a free dinner at Kwai 2 with his/her partner.

More to Give Away

With over 700 people now signed up, our newsletter is enjoying ever wider readership. To help us grow this even more, and to thank our regular customers, we will be running a draw again this month. The draw will again be made at random from the Kwai 2 newsletter readership. This month we are offering free house wine for a table of two for the lucky winner. Details of the winner will be announced next month.

Corporate Days

We are very excited this month to be hosting our first corporate day. Our guests for the day will enjoy a morning's clay pigeon shooting in Old Basing followed by a lovely Thai banquet back at Kwai 2. We are even picking the guests up from the station and meeting them first for coffee and a briefing. All in all it sounds like a great fun day. We already have another two bookings to do the same in April, and interest in these days is growing.

This will become a regular feature at lunchtimes over the coming months and we are looking to expand this further to include fly fishing. If you would like to host your clients for a fun day out, contact Kwai 2. We will take all of the strain out of the organisation, provide the transport and throw in a traditionally warm Thai welcome to make your day work well for you.

Special Spring Salads

Our head chef, Somchai, has been working hard again this month. As if catering for a full restaurant was not enough, he has been putting the finishing touches to a range of crispy and spicy salads for the warmer days ahead. We will be launching these around about Easter with options for vegetarian and meat lovers alike. We plan to develop an outdoor area to enjoy these as the evenings draw out with a beautifully chilled white from our wine list. Keep an eye on the website for details. Business Lunch

Having made such a hit with so many of you for dinner, we are looking to extend our welcome to the Basingstoke business community too. As well as our corporate days we are letting more and more people from the business parks of Basingstoke know about our 'in a hurry' business lunches. Thai cuisine is perfectly adapted for delivering food fast. Our woks are always ready for action and we can typically get lunch to you in about five minutes. With our ordering system that let's you call up before you leave the office we can even have your lunch ready when you arrive.
